We are running short of time and we cannot afford to have such issues at the back of our mind when we are going to polls. The problem of alliance with PRP now being put to rest , the leaders in the state should join hands and work for the victory of Congress party,’’he added. On the choice of candidates he said `that party MLAs under whose constituency the respective wards fall, will have their say in the selection of candidates.Of course they will take a decision to this effect in consultation with the party leadership in the state.
The MLAs are not only responsible in selection of candidates but will be held responsible for the victory of the candidates. The news that there is no truck with the PRP should come as a welcome news to both the warring groups in the Congress putting an end to all speculations at least for the present.
