Naidu accuses State of harassing Paritala's family

Telugu Desam Party president Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday alleged that the Congress Government was trying to implicate TDP MLA Paritala Sunita's son Sriram in a false case.

Reacting to the searches being conducted by the police on Paritala Sunita's house, the TDP chief alleged that she was being targeted for her affiliation with the TDP. Accusing the government of trying to foist false case of attempt to murder against Sriram, he said that the government wants to send a youth to jail for committing no crime.

The TDP chief asked as to why the government was not taking action against Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao although he was named in the CBI's charge sheet in Jagan Mohan Reddy's disproportionate assets case. He said while the government was shielding its corrupt ministers, it was targeting the TDP leaders and their families despite being innocent.

Earlier, Naidu started his Vastunnaa Mee Kosam Padayatra from Kamaram Nd passed through Penchikalapet, Duggondi, Kesavapuram, Lakshmipuram, Ponakal, Nachinapalli and Girni Baavi.
