Ten years back, on the Christmas Day, TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu has appealed to the American Telugu Associations (ATA) here to invest back home for the development of the State and now he is trekking in the Telangana region and taking up public issues.
Naidu has taken up the cotton farmers issue and a party delegation met the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) officials in Mumbai yesterday while Naidu like his father-in-law, NTR has been touching upon the local issues to infuse credence to his padayatra.
The Padayatra, which will go on in the Peddapalli segment, will enter the hotbed of Telangana, Warangal soon after. As the atmosphere is heating up with the December 28 All Party Meeting nearing, pressure will be mounted on TDP to spell out its stand on the issue.
TDP leaders of Warangal have made it clear that there is no change in their stand and will reiterate what they had earlier told. But the cat is still not out of the bag.
Naidu in Telangana and the All Party Meeting will be a delicate issue to handle with.
TDP has upped its ante against TRS stating that KCR fears the swelling popularity of Chandrababu Naidu during the Padayatra. What will be outcome of the meeting and who will represent the Part at the crucial meeting is still not clear, at least from the side of the main players, Congress, TDP and YSRCP.
It is only on December 28 that things will fall in place and matter becomes clear.
