Union Health Minister and in-charge of AP Congress affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday appealed to all political parties in the State to give right direction to the Centre to enable it in taking a decision on the Telangana issue.
Talking to reporters at HICC on the sidelines of World Allergy Conference, Azad said that Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde had a detailed study of the prevailing situation and demand over Telangana. He hoped that all political parties would attend the meeting which is tentatively scheduled on December 28 at New Delhi. He ruled out the possibilities of any party boycotting the meeting.
Azad said that the representatives of all parties, including those advocating and are against Telangana, would be invited for the meeting. He expressed confidence that the all-party meeting would be fruitful in resolving the contentious issue of Telangana.
