Hyderabad,Oct 28: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) party which has been lying low after the electoral rout of the party in the last elections his party in May is trying to revive the Telangana movement by launching the `jail bharo ‘ program in the Telangana districts on Wednesday.TRS leader Nayani Narasimha Reddy speaking on the occasion of jail bharo program in Hyderabad said that the party cadre will not rest until a separate Telangana is achieved. The issues like free zone will not arise once Telangana is achieved, he asserted.To achieve separate Telangana, the people of Telangana will sacrifice everything , he asserted.
The good response we received today in the jail bharo program is an indication that the people are with us and they will stand by us in the endeavour to fight a for a separate Telangana. `` We have decided to launch a peaceful agitation and we will continue the agitation in the same spirit without causing any inconvenience to the daily life,’’ he added. He advised the party cadre not to be involved in any untoward incidents while carrying on the agitation peacefully.
Meanwhile in Warangal, TRS MLA Vinay Bhaskar appealed to the police to release all those TRS activists who peacefully took part in the jail bharo program. He alleged that while the TRS supporters were carrying out the jail bharo program peacefully, the Congress leaders are putting pressure on the police to arrest the TRS supporters which is uncalled for.
