VHR asks CM to act on Dharmana's resignation

Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao on Wednesday said that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has to take a decision on the resignation of Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao, who has been named as fifth accused by the CBI in the disproportionate assets case of Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Talking to media persons, Hanumantha Rao said that the Chief Minister should not drag the resignation issue further in the name of Congress High Command as it could damage both the party and government's image. He asked all tainted ministers to disclose the truth on whose pressure they have signed those controversial GOs. “The Ministers should come out with names and facts and reveal about those who pressurised them to sign those controversial GOs,” he said.

Hanumantha Rao said that the High Command too acted as per whims and fancies of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy during his stint as the Chief Minister.  Claiming that he had no personal grudge with YSR, he hailed the Ministers for realizing their mistakes now.
