Telangana Nagara Samiti president and MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Tuesday stated that the Telangana state formation was not possible with the efforts of a single party.
Talking to media persons here, Nagam Janardhan Reddy called upon all parties to launch united struggle for Telangana statehood under a common platform. “Only with continuous agitation and consistent fight, the formation of Telangana state will be possible,” he said.
Responding to ongoing power crisis in the State, he demanded Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to convene a special session of the State Legislative Assembly to discuss on the issue. He alleged that the Chief Minister has totally failed on all front and has no moral right to continue on his post.
On the resignation of Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao, he said that nothing stops a minister from resigning from his post. Therefore, once a minister submits resignation it should be deemed to be accepted.
