Communist Party of India State Secretary K Narayana on Saturday asked Labour Minister D Nagender to clarify whether 'he was a minister or a rowdy?
Talking to reporters at Makhdoom Bhavan, Narayana condemned the behaviour of Nagender over the issue of ISKCON temple at Banjara Hills and said that such an attitude does not suit a cabinet minister. Demanding that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy take action against all the tainted ministers and those facing criminal cases, he demanded that Nagender be removed from the cabinet.
The CPI Secretary also expressed wonder over the statement of Home Minister P Sabitha Indira Reddy wherein she said Nagender was like her brother. He questioned as to how the Home Minister call a minister her brother who behaved like a 'rowdy'.
Narayana also alleged that the State Government was trying to diver the natural resources of Telangana to other regions. He said that the people of in the region want Telangana State in its original form, with all natural resources intact.
