TPJAC asks leaders to clarify stand on statehood issue

Telangana Political Joint Action Committee Chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Monday demanded those political leaders, who visit Telgangana region with political motives, to first make their stand clear on the Telangana statehood issue.

Talking to media persons at TPJAC office, Kodandaram said that the JAC would not raise any objection over the personal visits of political leaders. However, he said that the Telangana leaders would raise their objection over the 'political visits' of leaders. Responding to YSRCP honorary president Y S Vijayamma observing Maha deeksha for the cause of weavers issue in Sircilla, in Karimnagar district, Kodandaram said that the JAC would work against both the Congress and the YSRCP from now onwards.

Kodandaram accused the State Government of cooperating with Vijayamma by giving permit for Deeksha and encouraging attacks on the Telangana leaders. He said that a strategy would be adopted to politically damage both the Congress and YSRCP.
