Jr NTR denies role in Nani's exit from TDP

Noted film actor Junior NTR on Monday condemned allegations that he was behind the suspension of Telugu Desam Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani from the party.

Talking to media persons at his residence, Junior NTR denied any role in his friend and legislator Nani's move to quit the party and joining of YSR Congress party. “I have nothing to do with his decision," he said. When asked if he would request Nani to return to the TDP, the actor said, “He may have his own reasons. I am leaving this to him."

Ruling out reports of quitting the Telugu Desam, he also denied any differences between Nara and Nandamuri families. He also ruled out any differences with TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and his uncle N Balakrishna. "I will remain with the Telugu Desam till my last breath. There is no question of leaving the TDP, founded by my grandfather, NTR" he said.

Stating that his priority was films, he said, “I could not allot sufficient time to play active role in politics."
