TDP demands President's rule in the state

Telugu Desam Party Deputy Floor Leader in the Assembly Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu on Tuesday alleged that both Centre and State governments have totally failed in addressing the farmers issues.

Talking to media persons at Telugu Desam Legislature Party Office, Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu demanded imposition of President’s rule in the state as the government totally failed on all fronts.

As the governance in the state utterly failed, he said that the high command called the Governor to New Delhi to seek information over the latest political situation in the State.

Despite start of kharif season, he accused the government of its failure to supply subsidized seeds and fertilizers to farmers. Though the dealers selling `fake seeds’ at shops, the agriculture official and government failed to take stringent action on them, he alleged.

Although the government is claiming champion of farmers cause, he alleged that the government was showing total negligence in addressing their issues. Throwing farmers problems to wind, he alleged that the leaders in the state heading to New Delhi to protect their posts.
