Telangana Rashtra Samithi Sircilla MLA K Tarakarama Rao on Saturday said that the national parties were losing their strength due to the emergence of regional parties.
Talking to media persons at TRS Bhavan, Tarakarama Rao said that the national parties including the Congress and the BJP have failed to field their candidate from Kannauj Lok Sabha, where Dimple Yadav, wife of Uttar Pradesh chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has been elected unopposed. “This clearly indicates that the national parties are fast losing their significance due to the regional parties,” he said.
Even in Telangana region if the TRS emerges victorious in all the constituencies, the Centre would bow down to the statehood demand immediate, he said. He expressed confidence that the TRS candidate M Bhikshapathi would win with a huge majority in the by-elections in the Parkal Assembly constituency.
