The Telugu Desam Party on Wednesday demanded that the State Government order a CBI probe into the activities of YSR Congress leader Mangali Krishna, who has been convicted by an Anantapur court for his involvement in an attempt to murder TDP leader Paritala Ravi.
Talking to reporters at the Telugu Desam Legislature Party office, MLC YB Rajender Prasad alleged that Mangali Krishna was the benami of YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy. Further, Mangali was also a benami of Bhanu Kiran, the prime accused in Suri murder case. While Bhanu was the benami of Suri, Mangali had several benami assets of Bhanu.
The TDP leader demanded that the State Government order a thorough probe through Central Bureau of Investigation to expose Mangali's connection with Bhanu Kiran and Jagan Mohan Reddy.
