Congress, TDP scared of Jagan: YSRC

Unable to take on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s growing popularity, ruling Congress and main opposition TDP have been levelling baseless allegations against him to gain political mileage but the move will bounce back as they are contradicting themselves with every subsequent statement, YSR Congress has said.

“The two parties are levelling baseless charges and are trying to drag YS Jagan’s name into every case that is popping up of late,” YSR Congress Party spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao told reporters here on Wednesday.

Earlier, they blamed Jagan for ParitalaRavindra’s murder. Now they are resorting to false propaganda to defame YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for everything and in every case that is popping up. ”All this is done only divert the charges of Suri’s wife Bhanumathi who is openly accusing TDP President, N Chandrababu Naidu of hatching the conspiracy to murder her husband.

TDP in the State capital and Congress leaders at Delhi are holding echo press conferences and are repeating only one thing. “Their target is Jagan and they fear Jagan. Every day the two parties have been telling the same thing and leveling the same allegations as if like an echo.”

The main reason for the fear is that the two parties are distancing themselves from people while YS Jagan is with the people and has travelled 20,000 km so far, he said.  With by-election to 18 assembly and Nellore Lok Sabha come up, the two parties are in frustration and are speaking through the hat besides resorting to mudslinging.

The conspiracy to defame YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is hatched in Delhi and the script is written there and is enacted by local Congress and TDP, he said.

Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao and Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu (TDP) have been bringing up issues that are irrelevant. With the arrest of Bhanu, the person who allegedly killed Suri, his associate Mangali Krishna’s name has popped up.

For the all the false allegations, the two parties got a resounding reply in Kadapa, Pulivendula and at Kovur. Now they are going to get the same reply in the ensuing by-elections, he said.
