Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA T Harish Rao on Thursday stated that he was ready work as an 'attender' at the NTR Trust Bhavan if Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu writes a letter to Union Home Minister P Chidambaram supporting the Telangana state.
Talking to media persons, Harish Rao asked Chandrababu Naidu to at least write a letter to Chidambaram stating that his party was not against the bifurcation of State. “If Naidu is ready to give a letter in favour of Telangana, I am ready to work as an attender at the NTR Trust Bhavan,” he stated.
Naidu could visit the region after giving letter to Chidambaram, he stated. He also criticized Seemandhra leaders for taking up padayatras and deekshas in the name of farmers' cause with an eye on upcoming by-elections while disturbing law and order situation in the region.
Harish Rao alleged that the Seemandhra leaders hatched a conspiracy to break unity among Telangana leaders to dilute the statehood agitation.
