Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday came down heavily on TDP and YSR Congress for staging agitations on farmers’ cause to eke out a political advantage.
Talking to media persons after cancelling his visit to Araku valley due to bad weather conditions, he stated that both Chandrababu Naidu’s Rythu Porubata and Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Rythubata have been launched with a political motive and lacked commitment on farmers’ demands.
However, he said that the Congress would give a fitting reply to both parties on the issue.
He also criticised media for carrying speculative reports highlighting differences between himself and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana and other ministers in the coordination committee meeting.
He reiterated that he would expand his cabinet soon with approval of high command.
“The date for cabinet expansion will be announced soon once high command gives its nod,” he stated.
The government would mobilize investment proposals to a tune of Rs 5 lakh crore for establishing industries at Partnership Summit, he said adding that Rs 27 crore worth proposals have been cleared in north Andhra.
