PRP in cabinet only after full merger

PRP members have to wait till the process of merger is complete to get cabinet berth. This was disclosed by Chief Minister, N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Friday.

Talking to media persons after emerging out of discussions with Congress president Sonia Gandhi and other Central Ministers, the Chief Minister said that cabinet berths to PRP aspirants would be given at an appropriate time after the formal completion of merger process.

Denying media reports that he has differences with State Congress president Botsa Satyanarayana over the policy matters, the Chief Ministers termed them as `creation of media’.

“I have no differences with PCC chief and we are taking decisions in tandem even on party affairs,” he said.

Responding to a question on liquor syndicate, Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the government would not spare anyone and will take stringent action against the guilty. “The State Government is yet to receive a report from the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), which conducted raids across the state on liquor syndicate,” he said.

Once the ACB submits its report, he said, the government would take action against the guilty. If necessary, the government will also order CBI probe into liquor scam, he said.

Reiterating that his government would fill one lakh posts by this year end, he said that Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh would visit the state in the first week of January 2012 to handover the appointment letters to unemployed youth at a programme.

He said the government would implement all welfare programmes in the letter and spirit by mobilising resources through minor increase in taxes. He said that the party would go to bye-elections campaign on the strength of the welfare programmes it has implemented in the state.

The government would also continue the 104 and 108 services and clear their pending dues soon he said adding that he was in Delhi to discuss interest-free loans to Self Help Groups (SHGs) and Prime Ministers Gram Sadak Yojana scheme.
