Rubbishing the allegations of Telugu Desam leaders as baseless and far from truth, Telangana Rashtra Samithi Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao on Saturday held Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu responsible for more than 700 people sacrificing their lives for obstructing Telangana state formation and by not making his stand clear on the issue.
Talking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan, Harish Rao said that TDP leaders Motkupalli Narasimhulu and Errabelli Dayakar Rao should first hang Chandrababu Naidu for cheating the people of region on Telangana instead of TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao as challenged by Motkupalli Narsimhulu.
He described former chief minister K Rosaiah as the first accused in obstructing Telangana in the Assembly and followed by N Chandrababu Naidu. He reminded that the people, who have committed suicides for cause of statehood, mentioned Naidu as prime accused in their suicide letters.
Harish Rao said that the false announcements made by TDP and Congress leaders on bifurcation of state led the people of region to end their lives. Stating that the TDP leaders were making baseless charges against KCR in order to get mileage for Naidu, he challenged the TDP Telangana leaders to resign from their elected posts and contest in the bye-elections using Naidu’s photo.
Stating that the people of region have already hanged the TDP for cheating them on the statehood issue, he dared Motkupalli Narasimhulu and Errabelli Dayakar Rao to press Chandrababu Naidu to make favourable statement on statehood issue if they are really committed for creation of Telangana state.
Harish Rao challenged the TDP leaders to ready for public debate on the main obstructers for the Telangana state formation.
