NT Rama Rao became famous when he gave rice at Rs.2 a kilo during his regime. YSR also re-launched this just ahead of the elections in 2010.
Now chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has announced that he will launch a new scheme – rice at just one rupee a kilo and it will be launched on November 1.
Looks like the CM wants to become more famous than NTR and YSR.
