The era of paperless government has finally begun. From now on, all title deeds, pattadar passbooks, adangal records which are in huge demand will be issued online.
With the cooperation from the state IT department, the National Informatics Centre has provided the requisite technology to the Revenue Department. Special counters have been set up at all mandals and revenue taluqs while computerizing the land records.
A new system has come into operation with AP online, Citizen's Services, e-Seva Centres and APSWAN facilitating the Revenue Department to keep pace with the trend under the supervision of Revenue Special Chief Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi. According to officials, Warangal district tops in the effective implementation of the said system on pilot basis. Certain vital information/data related to the farmers/crops have been preserved and the farmers will receive the updates through cell phones.
So far, the Jamabandhi records have also been computerized in Nalgonda district as of now. The Warangal results induced the state government to make the modern issue system functional in all the districts from the next year. Further, to cut down the revenue department expenditure, all mandals will henceforth get e-mail facility which will obviate stationery and phone bills.
The revenue department has already started operations for issue of documents related to land registration etc, as a pilot project in district which was intended to eradicate the middle man’s intervention. The Revenue Department's top brass has pressed their staff into operation for quick issue of all documents and certificates to the applicants.
