Pradesh Congress President Mr. Botsa Satyanarayana on Saturday appealed to the Seemandhra JAC students to withdraw the agitation against the deletion of Clause 14F.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Satynarayana said it was incorrect on the part of Seemandhra leaders or students to protest against the Clause 14F deletion. "The deletion was decided long back and a resolution was also passed in the state legislative assembly in 2010 to this affect," he said.
The PCC President said protests over Clause 14F deletion were a non-issue and it must not be encouraged. He thanked the President of India Pratibha Patil and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi for affecting the deletion of Clause 14F
