Taking a serious note on those MLAs who are allegedly indulging in anti-party activities, the Pradesh Congress Committee on Thursday served show-cause notices on four Legislators demanding explanation from them within seven days.
PCC Secretary Anand Bhaskar on Thursday served notices on four MLAs –Konda Surekha, Adinarayana Reddy, Amarnath Reddy and Srikant Reddy—on behalf of PCC president D Srinivas.
The PCC will initiate action on the MLAs, based on their response.
According to reports, the Legislators are openly participating in the YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s Kadapa by-election campaign violating the party rules and regulations and affecting the chances of official candidates DL Ravindra Reddy and YS Vivekananda Reddy.
This issue was pending since last four months. This decision was taken to prevent other legislators and serve as lesson to them.
Earlier, PCC chief D Srinivas and Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy discussed on serving notices to legislators under anti-party activities.
