Communist Party of India state secretary K Narayana on Tuesday opined that the candidates of the Congress contesting the by-elections to Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula Assembly constituencies will lose their deposits despite serving Ministers making efforts for their victory.
Talking to media persons at Makhdoom Bhavan in Himayath Nagar on Tuesday, the Left leader stated that the people of Kadapa will give a fitting lesson to Congress candidates as Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has left ‘problems of people to the wind’ and the administration in the state has come to a grinding halt since past few months.
The government has totally concentrated its efforts on how to put check on activities of former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy without taking any administrative and policy decisions on important issues, Mr Narayana charged.
Despite deputing seven Ministers for various constituencies in the Kadapa district, the winning chances of Congress candidates DL Ravindra Reddy and YS Vivekananda Reddy are grim, the veteran Communist leader stated.
Stating that Left party leaders will campaign for Telugu Desam Party candidates during the by-elections, Mr Narayana expressed confidence that TDP candidates would win the elections with majority.
He expressed confidence that the rift between the Nanadamuri and Nara families over leadership would sorted out soon.
