Congress MLC from Telangana region Yadav Reddy on Monday demanded an explanation from the members of the Congress Action Committee for Telangana who had attended the Assembly Sessions despite the call to boycott the House till March 12 not being withdrawn.
Talking to media persons at Assembly Media Point, the MLC stated the Telangana Congress Members have been asked not to attend Sessions until the government introduces a resolution in the House on Telangana.
Mr Yadav Reddy called upon Members to boycott the Assembly session and make efforts towards the Telangana state formation.
He also condemned the former chief minister K Rosaiah’s statement that Telangana was sensitive and needs some more time for Centre to address the issue.
“We will prove with evidence that who is behind in dragging and obstructing the Telangana state formation,” the MLC stated.
Reacting on Mr Rosaiah statement that state Exchequer suffered a major loss due to employees’ noncooperation agitation in Telangana region, Mr Yadav Reddy stated that instead of adopting delaying tactics, the Centre can announce Telangana and contain the loss occurred to the state. MLC KR Amos was also present.
