Telangana Rashtra Samithi Assembly Floor Leader Etela Rajender on Friday warned the government of serious consequences if it fails to introduce a resolution on Telangana issue in the state Assembly immediately.
Talking to media persons at Assembly Media Point, the TRS Floor Leader criticized the state government’s ‘indifferent’ attitude of introducing a resolution in the House despite the Telangana employees participating in noncooperation agitation and the Telangana Political Joint action Committee’s 48-hour bandh paralyzing the administration in the state.
Alleging the government of acting ‘irresponsibly’, Mr Rajender said the government should respect the sentiments and aspirations of people by agreeing to the separate statehood demand.
Expressing regrets for the students losing their valuable academic year due to participating in the T agitation, the TRS leader demanded that the government open its eyes and take a concrete decision favouring Telangana state formation.
He called upon the Telangana Ministers and MLAs to follow the lead taken by the Congress MPs in Parliament.
