Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K Chandrasekhara Rao on Sunday stated that the Telangana state would be carved out from united Andhra Pradesh only through ‘surgery’.
Participating as the Chief Guest at the first Telangana Government Doctors Association State Convention-2010 organized at Osmania Medical College Auditorium in the city, the TRS chief stated that the Telangana doctors have found a medicine for Andhra virus, which affected Telangana in 1956 and it would effectively cure the disease.
If the medicine fails to cure Andhra virus, the doctors have to perform surgery to carve out Telangana state, he pointed out. KCR said that the capital city Hyderabad would be developed on par with international standards after the formation of separate Telangana state.
KCR reiterated that he would observe non-cooperative movement on the lines of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi if the Centre did not announce its decision favourably after the submission of Justice Srikrishna Commission report on December 31.
