Fan wars intensify between Pawan Kalyan and Vijay Political Stardom. Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Thalapathy Vijay enjoys tremendous fan following among all sections of people in their respective states. Yesterday Thalapathy Vijay launched his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam in a spectacular manner in Chennai.
Eversince his party launch, fans of Vijay and Pawan Kalyan started indulging in social media wars boasting about their heroes or leaders stardom. Vijay with his mass action entertainers have been scoring tremendous and spectacular hits and created his own fan base in Tamil Nadu more than that of Super Star Rajinikanth. He chose contemporary subjects in his films and spoke about GST, NEET and other things in his films to connect chords with the movie lovers.
He planned his political entry over a period of time in a meticulous manner and now is the emerging force and decicisive factor in the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections taking on the might of the DMK led by Stalin and AIADMK propelled from the back by BJP.
Coming to Pawan Kalyan, he despite the results of his films, made a strong impact with his social service activities and endeared himself to all. He played a key role in his brother Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam in 2009 and he had his own ideas on how to run the party. He got disillusioned when his brother Chiranjeevi merged his party with Praja Rajyam. He dared and took the bold step to enter politics in 2014 at the age of 43 starting Jana Sena while Vijay entered at the age of 50.
Pawan Kalyan unlike Vijay decided not to contest elections for the first time and instead support TDP-BJP alliance and played key role in the alliance victory. He decided to enter the political battle ground in 2019 and went all alone in Andhra Pradesh but got a huge shock when he lost from two constituencies and his party Jana Sena got wiped out. After hitting by hard reality, while anyone would have got demoralised, Pawan continued to run the party and worked relentlessly and in 2024 tasted success by winning from all the 21 seats his party contested and went on to become the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh.
Vijay is still at the initial stages and his first political meeting in the public gaze turned out to be a huge success while Pawan when he launched his party, held the meeting in closed doors at JRC Convention Centre. However, politics will be extremely different and fanfollowing is completely different from people who finally come to vote during the elections. So fighting among people as to who is great political force between Pawan and Vijay is still premature and even though Pawan Kalyan may campaign for AIADMK in the upcoming elections at the behest of BJP, his influence in Tamil Nadu will be minimal.
