CBN Getting Shock From Own Media

CBN getting shock from own media. The political dynamics in Andhra Pradesh appear increasingly challenging for the ruling parties, as they face growing scrutiny over governance practices. Historically, various allegations of corruption and malpractice against YCP leaders, ministers, and MLAs have ultimately been attributed to their leader, Jagan Mohan Reddy. Despite individual culpability, these issues have tarnished the party's image, leading to a loss of power. Analysts now speculate that a similar scenario could unfold for the TDP.

After forming the government, Chandrababu Naidu launched an ambitious initiative titled *"This is a Good Government"*, aiming to highlight effective governance. The program's positive name made it challenging for opposition parties to critique it directly, as it conveyed a sense of accountability and transparency. However, despite this strategic framing, problems within the TDP's ranks have begun to surface.

In pro-TDP media, reports of TDP MLAs behaving like "collection kings" and engaging in questionable activities have become frequent over the past few days. Additionally, the absence of a volunteer system for handling local administrative tasks has further complicated matters. Constituents needing even basic services, like a birth or death certificate, often find themselves dealing directly with MLAs or their personal assistants. This shift has created a scenario where every interaction comes with a price, with some leaders allegedly taking advantage of their positions.

One incident in a key constituency in the Kurnool district highlights this issue. A local police station reportedly required the permission of an MLA to file an FIR in an accident case. The victim's family, after meeting the MLA, was directed to the personal assistant, who allegedly demanded a bribe of ₹5,000 to ₹10,000. Frustrated, the family sought the district court's intervention to get the FIR registered. Similarly, in another instance, a TDP corporator was accused of demanding money for issuing a birth certificate. These allegations reflect a broader pattern that could harm TDP's image and prospects.

Political analysts suggest that if such incidents continue, it could severely impact the TDP's standing. Ultimately, it is Chandrababu Naidu who might bear the brunt of this backlash, as these issues could overshadow the party's achievements and cast a shadow over his leadership.
