Demanding introduction of a Bill on separate Telangana in Parliament, Telangana Telugu Desam Party Forum leaders would stage dharna in 21 mandal headquarters across the Telangana region, stated Forum Convener Nagam Janardhan Reddy.
Talking to media persons on Monday, Mr Janardhana Reddy stated that the TDP leaders would demand introduction of a Bill on Telangana in the Parliament at the dharna planned before AICC president Sonia Gandhi's residence on Oct 25.
He said the Forum leaders would leave Hyderabad on October 23 and stage the dharna if the AICC president failed to given an appointment to them for submitting a memorandum on separate Telangana state.
The senior TDP leader stated that the TTDPF leaders have already booked one second class A/C coach, three 3tier AC coaches and 14 second class coaches after paying around Rs 25 lakh in advance to the Railways.
About 1,500 party leaders and activists would turn up for staging dharna in Delhi, he stated.
Mr Janardhana Reddy said the Telangana leaders have asked TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu to flag off their train yatra from the Secunderabad Railway Station.
After their return, the TDP activists have planned agitations across Telangana from October 27, the TDP leader added.
