Andhra Pradesh has recently experienced floods due to heavy rains. Especially the Budameru area in Vijayawada caused huge damage. Many movie celebrities have already donated and stood by the flood victims. Nandamuri Mohan Krishna was a gold medalist during his studies at the Film Institute. Also, he is the Director of Photography for Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao's Brahmamgari Charitra, Anuraga Devata, Chandasasanudu, Nandamuri Balakrishna's movies and Venkatesh starrer Srinivasa Kalyanam, Shivaji Ganesan's Prabhu's Charitra Nayagan in Tamil and Garhwali Baharwali movies starring Farooq Sheikh in Hindi, and also worked as a producer, distributor and exhibitor for many movies. Nandamuri Mohana Krishna and his daughter Nandamuri Mohana Roopa have donated 25 lakhs to AP CM Sri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu for the flood victims.
Nandamuri Mohan Krishna and Nandamuri Mohan Roopa helped many people in the past also. Donations were made to TTD Annadanam Trust. Nandamuri Mohan Roopa was very actively involved in campaigning on behalf of the Telugu Desam Party in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the previous elections.
