In a recent interview, Kishor addressed Jagan's statement, highlighting that it is typical for politicians to express confidence in their victory prior to elections. "Whether it's Jagan Mohan Reddy, Rahul Gandhi, or Amit Shah, everyone claims they will win," he stated. "In my 10 years of experience, I've never seen anyone admit defeat before the elections." He even added that even on counting day, if a party is trailing, they will still maintain a hopeful outlook.
Regarding Jagan's claim of a bigger win than in 2019, Kishor challenged the statement, saying, "If they win more than 151 seats, then the embarrassment is on me. If they don't and my prediction becomes right, the embarrassment is on Jagan Mohan Reddy."
Kishor emphasized the need for caution when making such predictions. He explained that he focuses on analyzing the overall national trends rather than predicting specific seat results.
