TDP-JSP-BJP to sweep AP

Silent TDP-JSP-BJP wave in AP

TDP-JS-BJP to sweep AP. In recent weeks, there has been a flurry of opinion polls and electoral surveys focusing on the polling trends in Andhra Pradesh. These polls have presented varying views, with some indicating that the TDP+ alliance poses a formidable challenge in the state, while others suggest that Jagan's YSR Congress is likely to retain power. The latest survey by the India TV-CNX media agency has added another perspective to this mix.

According to the India TV-CNX survey, the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance appears to be gaining momentum in Andhra Pradesh, with the electoral wave favoring them. The survey predicts that the TDP is set to win 12 MP seats in the upcoming election, while the BJP is projected to secure 3 seats. This is a significant development, especially for the BJP, which failed to win any seats in 2019 when it contested independently but is now expected to secure 3 seats after joining forces with the TDP and JSP.

In contrast, the ruling YSR Congress is expected to see a decline in its MP seat count, with the survey predicting that it will win only 10 seats, down from the 22 seats it secured in the 2019 polls. Such a significant drop in MP seats could pose a serious challenge to the Jagan party.

The survey also suggests that a similar trend could be observed in the assembly elections, indicating that the TDP+ alliance may be on course to assume power. The key takeaway from this survey report is the presence of a strong anti-incumbency wave in Andhra Pradesh, which could potentially reshape the state's political landscape in the upcoming elections.
