Protesting the arrest of Telangana advocates at High Court, the Osmania University Joint Action Committee on Friday called for boycott of colleges and schools across the Telangana region on Saturday.
The OU JAC expressing solidarity to agitation of Telangana lawyers, demanded that the government implement the 42 percent quota for Telanganites in judicial recruitments to rectify the injustice.
They threatened to stage dharnas and rallies protesting the arrest of Telangana advocates.
Earlier, the OU JAC students staged a huge rally in Osmania University raising slogans against the government.
The OU students also staged dharna in support of Telangana advocates in front of High Court.
