High Cort rejects CBN bail plea. On Monday, the Andhra Pradesh High Court delivered a significant ruling by dismissing all the petitions submitted by former Chief Minister and TDP Chief, Chandrababu Naidu, who had been seeking anticipatory bail in connection with the Angallu violence, Inner Ring Road, and Fibernet cases.
In the case of the Skill Development Scam, Naidu's request for regular bail was denied, citing his deemed custody as the primary reason. Additionally, in the Inner Ring Road case, his request for anticipatory bail was declined on the grounds that the ongoing investigation was still in its early stages.
This development occurred just hours before the Supreme Court was scheduled to hear Naidu's bail petition, aimed at quashing the FIR linked to the skill development scam case.
It's worth noting that last week, the apex court had postponed the hearing of Naidu's plea challenging the Andhra Pradesh High Court's decision to dismiss his petition to quash the FIR related to the Skill Development Corporation scam case, with the new hearing date set for October 9.
