In a significant development, the police have apprehended prominent TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu in connection with the AP Skill Development scam.
Simultaneously, TDP MLA and former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao have also been arrested, and there are reports suggesting that both Ganta Srinivasa Rao and his son have been taken into custody. These arrests seem to be tied to their alleged involvement in the AP Skill Development Scam.
Sources within the Andhra Pradesh Criminal Investigation Department (CID) reveal that during Chandrababu Naidu's previous tenure as Chief Minister, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, who served as the minister responsible for the relevant department, played a pivotal role in establishing the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC). The CID sources assert that decisions made within this organization during his tenure were allegedly in violation of established rules and regulations.
