Chiru and Pawan should learn from BRO. Of late Mega Star Chiranjeevi and his brother Power Star Pawan Kalyan are showing interest in remakes as the projects can be completed quickly and production cost will be less. But the remakes are teaching them lessons but however they are refusing to change their thought process.
Chiranjeevi did Godfather, remake of Mohan Lal's Lucifer. Chiranjeevi won appreciation for his performance but the film failed to break any records. The film collected Rs 60crs and not Rs 100crs as claimed by the makers. At the same time, Chiranjeevi who did the straight film Waltair Veerayya, despite the routine content, collected Rs 120crs releasing during Sankranti.
Chiranjeevi's Bholaa Shankar, a remake of Vedhalam is set for release in less than ten days. But mega fans are not excited as the film is a remake and is a routine mafia drama. Only if if gets extremely good talk, it will create wonders at the box office.
Pawan Kalyan recently came with BRO. The film banking on his charisma grossed Rs 100crs but is now not making sound at the box office. Pawan Kalyan's Bheemla Nayak and Vakeel Saab despite remakes did well at the box office. However had those films happened to be original ones, they would have minted more money. Pawan is however ignoring the films with original content like OG and Hari Hara Veera Mallu which he singed longtime back but preferred to complete BRO. It has to be ween whether Mega Bros lean from BRO.
