Rajendra Prasad is one of the most senior and talented actors of Tollywood. Right from his career beginning where he played small roles to becoming and ruling comedy genre as lead actor, and now turning into character actor, he has showed his capability as an actor at every phase. Rajendra Prasad made his debut with Sneham movie directed by Bapu in 1977 then he got recognition with a supporting role in the film Ramarajyamlo Bheemaraju, starring Krishna, which fetched him a chance in 14 films. Vamsy offered him lead role in his Preminchu Pelladu and got a big break as hero with Ladies Tailor. Then he became a star with Jandhyala's Aha Naa Pellanta.
Rajendra Prasad was then called as King Of Comedy with his entertainers and became brand ambassador for comedy films. He had successful collaborations with directors Vamsy, E. V. V. Satyanarayana, S. V. Krishna Reddy and Relangi Narasimha Rao. Then he turned into character actor and second lead during his later phase in his career.
During 2000's his career takes a new turn and showcased a matured actor in him with films like Aa Naluguru, Mee Sreyobhilashi, Onamalu.He then again changed his course and played popular roles as supporting actor in films like Julayi, S/O Sathyamurthy, Nannaku Prematho, Srimanthudu. He was also acted as the president for MAA organisation.
