Censor Board is extra careful about OMG2. The members of the Censor Board decided to be extra careful and are keen to ensure that there will not be any Adipurush kind of mistake in the case of OMG2. It is known that Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan's Adipurush directed by Om Raut faced the ire of the entire nation.
People approached courts after the film's release and the court also reprimanded the Censor Board questioning how it passed the film for theatrical screening.
Following the backlash, Censor Board wants to be careful regarding Akshay Kumar's OMG2. In this film which a sequel to his hit film OMG, Akshay Kumar is playing the role of Lord Shiva.
A source shared that Censor Board from now onwards will send any film based on God to the revising committee. It is not clear what objectionable things the members of the Censor Board found regarding OMG2 dialogues. The film is directed by Amit Tiwari and stars Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi, and Arun Govil of Ramayan fame in key roles. The film is releasing on 11 Aug 2023.
