Naga Shaurya starrer comedy entertainer Rangabali was released into theatres on 7th July. The film opened with special premier shows in selected cities on the evening of 6th July. The film got a good response for its comedy in the film especially during the first half.
Promotions of the film were done as per the genre of the film, funnily. As a part of promotions, team did interviews with Naga Shaurya. Comedy actor Satya imitated various popular anchors of Telugu media and asked questions. This interview went viral and created huge buzz for the film. This spoof video has grabbed attention of the audience towards the film.
But, it came to know that some anchors who were imitated in the video got hurt. During press interactions, Naga Shaurya was asked about who's idea it was to do that spoof interview promotional video. Shaurya answered by saying "Media and us are like a family. Media made some dupes of Chandra Babu and KCR to make videos. We chose some known personalities to make a video. We funnily imitated their style if asking questions. It is only for lure fun and there is no intention to mock them.
Shaurya also said, " We even asked them whether they are okay with it. No one is hurt. If anyone feels that way, my apologies for them. It is done to generate you're fun only." clarified Naga Shaurya.
