Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, Ajay Devgn, Shriya, and Samuthirakhani played important roles in the film. The film's song Naatu Naatu tuned by Keeravani went on to win the prestigious Oscars.

While RRR is placed 24th in the list, the 1954 action flick Seven Samurai won the top honors. The top ten in the list include Die Hard, Mad Max-Fury Road, Aliens, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, First Blood, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Kill Bill-Vol 1, Terminator 2-Judgement Day, and The Matrix.
