Arun Govil attacks Adipurush. Prabhas -Om Raut's Adipurush which released amidst huge expectations turned out to be a huge disaster. The film based on Hindu epic Ramayan got trolled for the misrepresentation of the epic characters, cheap Dialogues and substandard graphics.
Already many netizens started trolling the Adipurush makers and even celebrities also blasted them. Already stars who starred in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan serial criticised them. Sunil Lahiri and Deepika Chiklia rhi played the roles Lakshman and Sita slammed the makers. Now Arun Govil who played Lord Ram came down heavily on Adipurush makers.
He questioned "Why do they want to fool around? Why do they want to bring new, new things, to try new things? Leave us alone. Why do you want to touch God in this fashion so please don’t do that. And what was the need for it?'
He continued "What was wrong with the depiction we have all known and loved for all these years? What was the need to change things? Perhaps the team doesn’t have proper faith in Lord Rama and Sita, and that is why they made these changes.”
Arun Govil said the makers knew that the film's result after the teaser got trolled. He said however the makers fooled all by meeting BJP leaders and also asking theatres to reserve a seat for Lord Hanuman.
