Ever since the film in the combination of Mahesh and Trivikram has been announced, the project got initial hype for its awaited combination but it got delayed to get onto the sets and stopped multiple times due to unavoidable reasons. The film was announced two years ago. But the shoot began last year. After multiple postponements, finally Guntur Kaaram gains momentum.
There were many rumours and reports came about the film that Mahesh didn't liked the script and hence scrapped already shot first schedule and asked director Trivikram to change the script and come with bounded script. This made multiple delays in schedules. It is said to be only 10% - 20 % of shoot has been done.
The latest schedule which was supposed to start earlier this month has been postponed to July. But, the good news is everything is locked and final corrections are being made to the final script. The next schedule which will start in July will last for 40 days and major part of filming will be completed in this schedule.
Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela will be seen as leading ladies opposite Mahesh in Guntur Kaaram. Thaman is composing the music. S Radhakrishna (Chinababu) is bank-rolling the project under his Haarika Haassine Creations banner. The maker have already announced that Guntur Kaaram will be released for Pongal, January 13, 2024.
