Magnum Opus Adipurush is in cinemas now. But, before dwelling into the world of Ramayana lets take a look about some interesting 'behind the scenes' things about the film.

✴️ Adipurush's initial budget was Rs 400 Crs. But, due to the backlash from the audience about the VFX past after its teaser release last year, the team allocated additional Rs 100 Cr to correct VFX part. This mad the budget of the film as Rs 500 Crs.
✴️ Kriti Sanon was not the first choice for Janaki role. Makers considered Anushka Shetty, Anushka Sharma, Kiara Advani and Keerthy Suresh for that role and finally zeroed on Kriti Sanon.
✴️ Adipurush is the first indian film which extensively and effectively used Motion Capture technology by director Om Raut. Avatar 1 & 2 were also used the same technology for recreating characters in the film.
✴️ When Adipurush was launched in 2001, a huge fire accident happened and a massive set turned into ashes. The team reconstructed sets and shot the film.
✴️ The grand ore release event of Adipurush which was recently held at Tirupati costed the makers more than Rs 2 Crs.
✴️ The team wanted to premiere the film three days prior to its worldwide theatrical release on June 13 at Tribeca Film Festival. But, dropped the idea.
✴️ Prabhas emerged as highest paid actor in India. He received Rs 150 Crs as remuneration for Adipurush which is the highest ever for any Indian actor.
✴️ Along with 3D makers planned to release Adipurush in IMAX format in many screens but dropped the idea as Hollywood film the Flash which is releasing at the same time of Adipurush was shot in IMAX had an early deal to screen the film in IMAX screens.
✴️ Adipurush was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi. For Telugu Prabhas dubbed for his role of Lord Ram while for Hindi Sharad Kelkar who earlier dubbed for Prabhas in Baahubali series returned to dub for him in Adipurush.
