Charmme: Versatile Actress Turned Producer

Charmme Kaur is a woman of many faces. She was an actress initially doing a wide variety of roles. She did the role of an innocent girl and immediately switched to a glamorous avatar. Then she played female-oriented strong roles and then did popular item numbers. Charmme in her career turned into Producer and is making films along with Director Puri Jagannadh by jointly collaborating under Puri Connects banner.

Charmme made her onscreen debut when she was 15 with Nee Thodu Kavali directed by Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao in 2002. She also played as heroine in Simbu first film as Hero. Then after doing some Tamil and Malayalam films she came back to Tollywood. Krishna Vamsi directorial Sri Anjaneyam brought name and fame to Charmme. After that she continuously acted in Telugu films. 

Gowri with Sumanth and Mass with Nagarjuna added more value to her career. She showed her acting skills in Chakram with Prabhas. Anukokunda Oka Roju is another major break in her career. She impressed with subtle acting in this female oriented film. Then she acted in Lakshmi, Style, Pournami, Rakhi and other films.

Charmme starrer horror thriller Mantra became a hit and fetched her new offers. She did heroine oriented films like Sundarakanda, Kavya's Diary, Manorama, Mangala and Nagaram Nidurupothunna Vela. She turned as producer with Jyothi Lakshmi where she played the lead role. Since then she jointly collaborated with Puri Jagannadh and founded Puri Connects banner. She co-produced films like Rogue, Paisa Vasool with NBK, Mehbooba, iSmart Shankar, Romantic, Liger. Recently they announced Double iSmart, a sequel to Superhit  iSmart Shankar with Ram as Hero in Puri Jagannadh direction.
