Rashmika Mandanna is on a signing spree. She is currently starring in a female-oriented film Rainbow. The film is a Tamil Telugu bilingual entertainer directed by debutante Shantharuban. Dev Mohan of Shaakuntalam fame is playing a key role in the film.
According to the latest, the makers wrapped up the first schedule. Sharing the details, Rashmika Mandanna posted "Guys sorry I went missing for a while.. that’s Cz we were mostly shooting in no network areas.. but guyzzzz our first schedule wrap of #rainbow Thankyou #rainbow team for your hard workkkkk.. you guys are awesome! (Ok now ps: it’s a bit confusing.. so it’s it’s for those who actually want to know )"
Justin Prabhakaran is the music director for the film bankrolled by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures. The makers earlier came up with films like Khakee, Khaidi, Sulthan and Oke Oka Jeevitham (OOJ).
The makers earlier planned to rope in Samantha for the film but later she was replaced by Rashmika Mandanna. Samantha backed out of the project due to her busy schedule and ill health.
