Despite Poor Reviews Salman Film Goes House-fulls On Its First Weekend

Salman Khan's latest film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan which was released on Eid once agian proved why he is considered as biggest crowd puller at the boxoffice. KKBKKJ is a remake of Tamil film Veeram which was also remade in Telugu as Katamarayudu. Considering the remake and subpar promotional content, the film didn't generated any hype and opened to average collections with RS 15.81 Crores on its first day. The film also generated poor reviews calling it as forgettable film of Salman Khan.

On its second day, Eid Salman started showing his muscle at the boxoffice. It took a plunge and registered big numbers, RS 25.75 Crs on its second day. The film continued its growth and registered RS 26.61 Crores on its third day. The growth from its first day to second day is 62.87 % and from second day to third day is 3.40 %. Taking the three day total to RS 68.17 Crs in India. 

This ensures Salman Star Power with Eid advantage that Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan despite weak reviews managed to earn big numbers at the boxoffice. The jump on 2nd and 3Rd days in mass circuits specifically has contributed to a big total. A major chunk of revenue has come from this sector. Considering overseas collection too the film rakes in RS 110 - 115 crores in its first weekend worldwide.

The real test for the film starts today, Monday. If it holds with an average drop there are chances for the film to.emerge as a box-office winner. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan stars Salman Khan alongside Venkatesh, Pooja Hedge, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, and Ram Charan makes a special appearance in Yentamma song. It is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Salman Khan Films.
