Malayalam film which was released as a small film in theatres has turned out to be one of the huge profitable films. The film was released in Theatres on 3rd February this year and has been widely recieved evr since it's release. The film is a horror comedy written and directed by debutant Jithu Madhavan.
Romancham will be releasing on Disney + Hotstar on April 1. It will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages too. The film stars Soubin Shahir, Arjun Ashokan, Sajin Gopu, Siju Sunny and Abin Bino in the lead roles.
Romancham which was made with a budget of 5 crores has ended up collecting 60+ crores. It is the seventh highest grossing Malayalam film. The film also completed it 50 days run at theatres.
The film is based on real incidents happened to 7 Bangalore based bachelors after they used OUIJA board to call spirits. Romancham explores how the spirit that comes in contact with these people create problems for them in a satirical tone.
