Ponniyin Selvan 2 is in full swing in London. According to the latest, it is coming out that director Maniratnam and music director Rahman landed in London for concentrating on the background music.

The film is the sequel to Ponniyin Selvan, Maniratnam's dream project. The film is racing for a grand release on 28 April 2023.The film has a starcast of Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, and Parthiban in the lead roles.
Plans are on to release the film's audio on April 5 and trailer will be released on 29 March. Expectations are high on the project bankrolled in a prestigious manner on Lyca Productions.
