The moment Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR caught the imagination of the entire west and started winning many prestigious international awards and its song got shortlisted to the prestigious Oscars, hate for the film increased and it is spreading like a dreaded virus among many. Unable to digest the stellar success and achievement of the film and the unit going all out to get more laurels for the country, many are spewing venom at them.
It is known that nowadays nothing gets recognition without publicity. Even a small film though it has good content is not watched unless it is promoted since its launch and even after the release. Now that the reports coming out that RRR makers have spent a whopping Rs 80crs for promotional activities across the globe, people like Tammareddy Bharadwaj are coming out with hate-filled speeches that the makers have wasted the money for nothing and they would have made ten more films with that staggering amount.
These are the same people who many times advocated that India need not go nuclear and instead it should concentrate on serving the poor. They used to come with comments like ' Desaniki Anvstraalu Enduku, Annavastralu Levu'. But they conveniently forgot the point that only after India became a nuclear power be it during Indira Gandhi and Vajpayee time, world started respecting the country.
The same people say girls neednot play sports and when people like Saina Nehwal, PV. Sindhu and others bring olympic gold they disappear completely.
