Dhanush's SIR according to the latest completed its censor formalities. The film which is racing for a grand release on 17 February 2023 got a U certificate from the members of the Censor Board. The makers are delighted as their film got a clean U certificate from the Censor Board which is a rarity in today's context of filmmaking. The film's runtime came up to 2 hours 20 minutes.
The film is all about the educational mafia and how a lecturer fights for the rights of students from the poorer community. The film is a bilingual entertainer directed by Venky Atluri and is releasing in Tamil as Vaathi. Samyuktha Menon is the heroine in the film for which music is scored by GV.Prakash Kumar.
Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakhani, Thothapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadi, Adukalam Naren, and Praveena are playing important roles in the film bankrolled on Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
